To learn more about these methods, keep reading this article on the best skin care products and tips for women over 35 years old.

Know your skin

It can be difficult to know what kind of skin care products you need when you're over 35. It's important to find the right balance between products that will provide hydration, protection, and help keep your skin looking youthful. Some other key things to remember are that you may need more moisturizing products in the winter, and more exfoliating products in the summertime. Finally, just because it's over 35 doesn't mean you don't want to look younger!

Eye Cream

If you are in your mid-thirties, it's time to start focusing on the creases around your eyes. The skin around your eyes is thinning so a cream designed specifically for this area will help prevent wrinkles. You'll want to look for an eye cream that has an SPF to protect against sun damage, which is one of the major causes of wrinkles. Try a product like Lancome Energie De Vie Eye Cream with SPF 20 or Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Treatment with SPF 15.

SPF/Sunscreen/Tinted Moisturizers

As we age, our skin care needs change. We start to need more moisturizers with antioxidants to help reduce signs of aging, like wrinkles. Antioxidants also provide an extra layer of protection from the sun's UV rays. Sunscreen is also important, especially if you don't want wrinkles or skin cancer. Make sure your sunscreen has at least SPF 30. And make sure it says broad spectrum on the label so that it protects your skin from both UVA and UVB rays (the two types of sun radiation). I prefer tinted moisturizers because they help even out my skin tone while providing some coverage - all without clogging pores.

Skincare tips

1. Replace your night cream with an eye cream. Night creams are thick, heavy and can lead to breakouts in the eye area. Switching to an eye cream is a great way to have smoother skin around the eyes.

2. Change your usual cleanser or face wash with a gentle exfoliating wash twice per week. Exfoliating will remove any dead skin cells on the surface of your skin that has built up from normal wear and tear throughout the day, so it's important to do this at least twice per week.

3. Apply an anti-aging serum before you put on your moisturizer for best results!
